About
Bai Win Antiques promotes the beauty of Taiwan, China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Korea, with a focus on showcasing unique and historical pieces. Our collection includes antiques, art, and artifacts representing 1,800 years of history, spanning the Han, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing Dynasties, as well as the Early Republic and modern reproductions.
We boast the largest private collection of antiques in Taiwan, distributed between our elegant showroom in Tienmu, a spacious warehouse in Bali, and our founder’s residence. We are eager to share this collection with your members through engaging and educational events.
We can organize exciting treasure hunts, where participants search for unusual items like an antique air conditioner from the mid-Qing period, a cricket mating box, or a traveling opium burner. We can also arrange guided tours of our warehouse or host lectures on various topics, ranging from local artists such as Chen Chao-Bao and Tsai Hsiao-Fang to furniture construction techniques throughout the ages.
Partner with us to create a memorable and enriching experience for your members. We look forward to the opportunity to collaborate.
As a young student, Faye Angevine first set foot in Taiwan over 40 years ago with the intention of studying law. But her love of collecting antiques soon became an all-consuming passion. She began by scouring Taiwan for unique collectibles that could accommodate her meager student’s budget, but after her first trip to China in 1978 she took the plunge launched her career as buyer, seller and connoisseur of fine collectibles.
Since then she has dedicated herself to providing her clients with unique and sought-after antiques to satisfy even the most discriminating collectors. Faye travels extensively throughout China, combing through dusty warehouses and wandering through remote villages in search of new additions for her collection. She looks forward to meeting each and every visitor to her showroom personally.
