Description An exceptional early 19th-century Chinese seal chest. Featuring a hinged top lid and two front doors that open to reveal four interior drawers, each sized for storing seals, ink, or small valuables. The front is detailed with an elaborate brass lock plate and stylized hinges, adding to the aesthetic appeal. A superb example of Qing dynasty scholar’s furniture.
