Description	A beautifully painted porcelain snuff bottle. Center medallions on both sides with polychrome paintings of groups of sages and official, conversing on one side, and reading a book on the other. Underglaze blue scroll designs bordering the medallions and sides. Coral stopper. Mark of Qianlong period but could be later Qing. After Castiglioni, the well known Jesuit who worked in the courts of the Emperor QianLong and was particularly known for his miniature paintings.
