Description Mid-20th century ROC-period historicist portrait of the Hongwu Emperor (Zhu Yuanzhang), founding ruler of the Ming dynasty, rendered on silk and inscribed “Jiwei year” (1899) and signed by Zheng Yu’an with Qi Gong-style seal. Painted in Taiwan circa 1955–1965 with bright blue dragon robes and ritual throne imagery.
