Description This small, Chinese Famille Rose porcelain vase is known by its opaque overglaze enamel, and soft pink and colourful palette, believed to be introduced by Western Jesuits and perfected during the Yongzheng era. The vase depicts a scene from the classic Chinese novel “The Romance of the Three Kingdoms”, with a woman seated in a garden.
