Description Hatsuhana-dayū performing Genjōraku, from Ōsaka Shinmachi Nerimono, 1822, by Yanagawa Shigenobu I (1787–1832). This early nineteenth-century Japanese woodblock print depicts Hatsuhana-dayū of the Naka-Ōgiya, costumed for a performance of Genjōraku (還城楽) during the celebrated nerimono costume festivities of Osaka's Shinmachi pleasure quarter.
